Marnie Designs specializes in small scale projects that deliver massive improvement and satisfaction. Whereas other design services might require a minimum budget, or ground-up involvement, we, at Marnie Designs thrive on working with what you’ve got. No project is too small. If it will improve your home, we'll help you.

We understand the very real limitations of aesthetic nirvana, like needing to ensure the return of landlord security deposits, actual budget available, terrible rental finishes, and furnaces installed in the middle of your living room floor (hello San Francisco!). But we don’t think that should stop you from getting as close as possible to magazine-worthy interiors, maximum functionality, and making a home that you love.

MAR

Marissa, the “MAR” in Marnie, is our engine. As a go-go-go type, Marissa gets that any inconvenience or inefficiency in life is urgent. Her 6 years of project management experience have taught her to communicate well and devise solutions quickly. After spending months working from home due to COVID-19, Marissa came to value the importance making a home a sanctuary that serves its owner. She strives to deliver just that for every one of our clients.

NIE

Annie, our lead designer and the “NIE” in Marnie, has 5 years experience working in the design and construction industry, yet hasn’t lost her scrappy DIY edge. She knows that the world doesn’t need another interior design firm, but unfortunately for her she literally can’t think about anything else. As an intense homebody, nobody understands the importance of home more than Annie. She has a vast appreciation of design, can work in many styles, and loves to integrate her elevated taste into our client’s preferred style in each project.
